One bit of nit-picking, I believe it is spelled ballet, with two 't' s and not one, but I could be wrong in the form that you spelt it that way on purpose.
One thing that surprised me, the subject is not on pointe, though the supposed age by the size of the subject could suggest not being readyfor that stage yet.
Regardless of the picking, and regardless on the two opposing views I saw this as, it is a wonderful work of art. ^^

Great shot; I really like how you used the curtains to obscure the window and to "modify" the light source so it looks as if there is a glow around the dancer.
I ought to try more silhouette shots, as well as indoor shots, myself one of these days.
